China & Russia won't let anything happen, China & Russia want a 'buffer' country between them and a USA friendly country like S.Korea. Which is why china is loading the boarder with troops.
I suspect China will tell Kim Jong-un to wind his neck in a bit and stop provoking Trump as he'll react, and i suspect the people of N.Korea would really like to be goverened by S.Korean, so you wouldn't see middle east type situation if there were 'regime change', more like an E/W.Germany becoming Germany. |

Much as I dislike Trump and disagree with most things he does, I think he has a point about North Korea. They can't afford to keep ignoring it while NK develop their missile technology and miniaturise their nuclear weapons.
It is better to act now (in a non-nuclear way of course) while NK aren't capable of delivering a nuclear response. I am not convinced at all that Kim Jong-un has sufficient sense not to fire a nuclear weapon once he gets hold of something small enough to fit to a missile. |

Unless the Chinese sort the little fat fucker out, there is pretty much cock all anyone can do, other than Korean War part two. As we come to St George's Day, remember the last one and what those of 29 Inf Brigade would experience. |

I'm not trivialising war, but although there's talk of North Korea having nukes, there's a massive technological advantage to the US and South Korean forces.

Also of all the worlds leaders, the current nutter (N Korean one) is the one I would say is most likely to blow up schools and blame it on the Americans. It's response on Seoul and other places that is the main concern. I think Seoul has a population of around 10 million, that is a high density target and like 10,000's casualties. Also the Americans (contrary to popular opinion) do not have a good track record at actually winning wars (especially alone). |

One of they key bits is what the North Koreans said in an interview.
They would react with a preemptive strike in their own way and style. The way I read that is that it may not be missile delivered. Is one sitting in a container ship some place? |
