Ok WTF is going on...
I had a 2007 e90 335i previously and both Cobb and MHD tunes caused the car to blow coils like crackheads pop pills. Unfortunately that car was wrecked so I bought another one. This car is a 2010 335i N54 and I recently installed MHD stage 1+. Sure enough, I'm in drive mode, I give it a little gas after a stop, I get a few jerks, and I sound like a damn Subaru. I pull codes and find that blew both cylinder 1 and 4 coils. I learned from last time to carry a coil with me, but now I'm one short and am very upset. Does anyone else have issues with these cars eating coils like candy while even moderately tuned?

How new are your spark plugs?

I have a 2010 335i E92.
Had a Cobb stage 2 tune done, as well as, replaced the stock air filter with a K&N and the BMW PE installed back in September 2016 and, up to now, I haven’t had any issues whatsoever.
