I really like the looks and it certainly has lots of power - havent driven one but my the tests Ive read it needs a handling package to compete with the 335i.

before i bought my car i was debating between g37 and 335i. g37 with upgraded hp compare to last yr, still slow and heavy! but it's cheaper best bang for the buck! electronic gadget in the g37 is awesome compare to 335i. i still ike their exhaust note though.

Today I finally got my prospective M3 on order. So I guess I will be able to buy it!! (I can't be renting cars for months!)
After realizing that getting the M3 was going to take too long, I started looking to other cars on my list, been the 335 my second option. I started looking at the G37S because of the good evaluations and GREAT price advantage over the BMW. Personally I hate the exterior design. All infinities look the same! But as you guys say, it's good value for the money. I hope that my car gets into production soon... Thanks for the opinions. |

great car, but you'll regret not spending a little more for the 335.

In a Motor Trend test, the G37S beat the 335i! I was like WTH? The 335i had better performance and gas mileage (by a lot) and still won the comparison.

I think the G37 looks good (not great), and there can be no argument that it is an awesome value. I actually don't see that many of them on the roads here in Nor Cal either - mostly see G35's.
I test drove the G37 and would have gotten that car if I were on a tighter budget and if the M3 wasn't my dream car. It's got enough HP and handling for you to have plenty of fun, and the electronics/gadgets in the car are great - especially the Navi. Vs. the 335, it's a really close call and I think it comes down to what is more important to you. Here are my impressions of both cars: 335: Better handling faster/more power BMW brand name/prestige More solid feeling and materials are generaly better quality G37: likely more reliable better electronics/navi best bang for the buck - you can take a very nice vacation for the $$$ saved Both great cars - good luck with your choice! |

is today G37 day? i must have seen like 20 of them today.. now a thread..
anyway, the car is a pick with no power. done. reliable? heck no, nissan's never been reliable on their first year, not even infiniti. it just has more toys on the interior. i'd take, which i actually did, take 2 turbo's... car isnt even cheap compared to 335.... |

If you wanted to compare the G37 to the 335i why would you post this in the M3 vs section.

The thing is I just received good news and my M3 was ordered, so I will "just" have to hold for about 6 weeks. (I got my allocation). I asked in this section because I trust the opinions. |

Having seen a white G37S in person, its a sexy car to be sure. Other than the GTR its probably the only Japanese sports car I would buy right now.

i think that too sometimes about the G37 S but I;d probably do with the 335i instead. but then why get the 335i - just step up to the M3 - and here I am with an M3 on order. oh - but one thing, Nissan is owned by Renault - does that make it a french car?

the only thig I wish for is my M3 to get here quicker!
But I would have to say since Renault took over Nissan has really improved, they were almost out of business. now we have the 350Z, the G series and the GTR coming to the USA.
