Vitamins
What vitamins do you guys take if any?
Picked up a years supply of seven seas multi vitamins with cod liver oil in the same capsule and have taken them since Xmas since I started dieting. Not really noticed any difference. Was in Costco today and there are loads of different types. So wondered if you guys take any and notice any benefits? |

I'm 47. I take a multivitamin tablet occasionally ... basically if I remember, probably 2 times a week. I take cod liver oil capsules at the same time.
On that and a moderately healthy diet, I run about 20-25 miles a week, play competitive badminton, and look after a small 70 acre farm/smallholding. Along with my normal 9-5 job. I don't think multivitamins do much for you, if your diet is sensible and provides the nutrients you need - though that's not true for all. My wife, for example, has an iron deficiency, and struggles to absorb iron through her diet. |

Tesco multi vitamin and mineral tablets, only about £9 for about 4 months worth, been taking them every day without fail for years and haven't had anything other than a couple of colds per year in that time.
Have a reminder set to repeat every day so you can't forget. |

No vitamins, as I eat pretty well and should get most from that. I do take cod liver oil tablets though, as it's difficult to be sure of getting a beneficial amount without eating loads of lily fish.
I doubt very much anyone would feel any genuine difference.

As has been said you will end up pissing most of it down the pan, your body will retain what it needs but that's it, with a decent diet you should not need them

For those that think that all vitamins are unnecessary, it is worth at least considering NHS advice http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/vitamin...Vitamin-D.aspx |
