Take it to your local exhaust shop and ask those guys, Honestly if you want more of a scream on the top end, try the PE from BMW, the PE MOD, or the VRSF Catback system.

I'd imagine certain bolt ons or mods such as catless dps for example would change the sound a bit but I couldn't tell you exactly how.

I have the Vanguard exhaust and I've noticed a slight difference in sound from when I first installed it with a small amount of bolt ons to now with FBO and some tuning, but overall the Vanguard system in my experience is always going to have that deep tone to it. I don't know that there is anything quick and easy you can do unless you plan to get into the mufflers and do some modifying.

Far as I know you can't just tune the sound of an exhaust by swapping the parts around it. That system was designed from ground up to sound the way it does. Catless pipes and headers could give you more volume and modify the characteristics a little bit but you can't just specifically dial in more "top end scream". If you don't like the sound you'll need to swap it.

you would get good gains and a nice sound by also installing a downpipe, but it would be super loud.

you can improve the sound by adding an x pipe or installing dual resonators to the catback, but I would not personally want to mess with such a nice catback..
