Music 'Dropping' 'Drops' and 'Dropped'

Why do music albums and singles 'Drop' these days?!

They used to say it's being 'Released', why do they now say 'Dropped'?

Same as trainers. There is a drop date for them as well.

Back in the day we used to drop E's, dropping trainers sounds much less appealing. I feel bad for the young generations

If we all add our ages to our profiles we can help each other out. The codgers can help the younger members with basic spelling, punctuation, and how to formulate a coherent sentence. The younger guys can return the favour by explaining new-fangled phrases, why we can't get Skype or Facetime working properly, and how to access the largest font setting on our smartphones
