335i Upgrades

I recently purchase a 2008 335i coupe with a manual transmission and I was wondering what are some of the most reliable aftermarket brands. Thanks.

Stay with the name brands that popular vendors sell and you will be alright. We personally get rid of problematic brands/products, we don't want head aches and we don't want them for our customers either.

What are you looking for?

I'm looking for a tune and then eventually full bolt ons. Headers, an exhaust system, down pipes, intake, throttle body, etc. Any suspension upgrade, transmission, maybe a short throw shifter. And even appearance (My car is black).

VRSF downpipe and chargepipe

aftermarket intercooler (get a black one/ paint it for better heat dissapation)

stage 2 tune for the downpipe

for exhaust: secondary cat delete

if you want it to be loud, PE mod to stock muffler

black kidney grills

coilovers

tires! make sure the tires are good.

this is a must: get an M performance shift knob. makes a huge difference in shifter feel.

tinted windows

debadge the 335i shit off the rear

maybe smoke tailights

and you got yourself one sweet ride!!!

Congrats on the purchase. Don't forget the most important upgrade... the driver. Try to get to a performance driving school or a local track-day with and instructor. This will allow you to safely have more fun and get the best out of whatever car you have.

To make the best decision take some time and get a good feel for your car and match your mods with your driving style and personality.
