Specifically for people with SSK!

Does ur fingers get caught btw the trim and the shift knob when you put in 1st, 3rd, and 5th??? Does neutral sit where 3rd used to be?? and is 6th where 5th was??? I love driving it now that I got used to it but when someone else drives my car they hate it because their fingers get caught all the time. ofcourse the shift are notchy!! I'll post some pics up when I get home, maybe i just didn't install it right. But I dont know how i can mess up on a simple installation..

Very common to install it backwards, and it sounds like that's what you did...

I have the rogue SSK. The shifter does not center in the same spot because rouge's lever does not have the bend that the stock one has. However, I think the selector rod is shorter but it's still further forward than stock. That being said, my fingers are well clear of the trim and the shift knob sits high enough to prevent that from happening. When I had the Z3 M coupe shifter, had that problem because the lever was way shorter and I used the stock selector rod. It would be interesting to know which SSK you installed. That way, if someone else has it, you could see if it's really supposed to be like that.
