Alarms with Dogs
Since we got Dylan he has been in a crate at night or when we go out. Now he seems to have settled down we would like to get rid and let him have access to the back of the house.
The current alarm system has stand PIRs. So I was thing of swapping them for 45kg Pet PIRs. Or remove the PIR and fit vibration sensors. What does everyone else do who has a dog??? Any recommendations? |

If the dog barks to a knock on the door, then leave the alarm switched off.
No burglar is going to break into a house with a barking dog. They'll go find somewhere easier. |

http://www.diy-alarms.co.uk/pscatalo...h-grade-2.html Is it as simple as disconnecting old one and connecting wires into the new one? |

I've got the pet friendly PIR's on our system. Have a cat and a dog and they wander about at night downstairs without setting it off, but if my big lump of son gets up and forgets the alarms on, then the bells start screaming.
