New Wheels, Need New Tires
I have an 08 E93. I just got a set of rims that I'm planning to get new tires for.
They currently have bad tires so its the perfect time to shop. Front 8.5" ET 35 Rear 9.5 ET 40 Should I go with 265/30-19 in the rear? And for front I was thinking to do 235/35-19. Any spacers needed and what size? Thanks!

265/30R19 and 235/35R19 are the most common fitment for a 19x9.5 and 19x8.5 staggered setup. That's what I ran for the last 3 years before deciding that driving 19s on Chicago-area roads was too expensive.
Those offsets will fit fine. If you want an aggressive look, you might want spacers, especially in the rear. I probably wouldn't go more than 5mm in the front, 10mm in the rear, but even that much would probably require fender rolling depending on the tire model. Not a spacing expert, so I'll let others chime in here. |

The roads in MA aren't the greatest either. What if I ran 265/35/-19 in rear? Last edited by victor247; 03-18-2017 at 10:47 AM.. |

I had ET35 at both ends. That's why I said you might want a spacer on the rear end, because my rears were pushed out about as far as I'd want them. A 5mm spacer would be the equivalent of what I had.
