Help
Found this piggybacked into my engine ecm harness.... not really sure what it is. I wasn't brave enough to turn the dial, if anyone could help me figure out what this is it would be appreciated.

Why would it have a dial you could adjust though.. I thought it maybe had something to do with fuel pressure or maybe a boost fooler. I'm a diesel head, this is the first forced induction gasser i've had.

It's a DP fix. The previous owner put it in to pass emissions. It needs to be dialed in to work correctly. For everyday driving, it must be removed, or over time it'll mess up your O2 sensor/AFR adaptations.
It's possible he uninstalled and sold the catless downpipes to somebody else before selling this car, so you'll either need to scan with MHD (check the main MHD thread on the first page) or get it on a lift and visually check. |
