Wheel spacer and bolt length

Can I run 50mm length lug bolts with 15mm spacers without any issues?

I bought 20mm spacers that came with the 50mm lug bolts, but the 20mm spacers rub with my 235/45/17 tires, so I'm going to drop down to 15mm spacers in the rear but need to know if I need to order shorter 45mm lug bolts.

You don't see the extra 5mm hitting anything on the back side?

I didn't think it would as it's a negligible length.

Heck, bolt thread engagement can easily vary 5mm depending on the hub thickness. With my apex wheels, my bolts have about 8 threads more engagement than my winter wheels. That's definitely more than 5mm. The worse thing you can do is try it.. if the bolts bottom out and the wheels is loose then take it off and order shorter bolts. That's very unlikely though.
