Thumbs up Pure Stage 2 "DD" verison Dyno Results

I have had a lot of people reach out to me regarding the "DD" Pure stage 2 turbos since they are fairly new and there's not much info on them. Well, the wait is finally over and here are my results. One of the local dyno shops here in Utah had a "Dyno Day" today so I had an opportunity to get my car on the dyno.

I want to give a huge shout out to several people. Thanks to Pure Turbos for their excellent customer service. Charles and Carol are amazing and have been great to deal with. Huge thanks to Richard and Tyler at Dirty Euro Customs in Salt Lake City for the install and for standing by your work. Lastly, a big thanks to David at Trebila Performance for tuning my car.

If you haven't heard of him, he specializes in custom tuning for people with jb4 and backend flashes. I've had nothing but great experience from him and he is very responsive. He lives in France and his english good. Because of the time difference, I normally send him logs at night and will have revisions in my inbox before I wake up

My mods are in my signature. I'm very happy with the results and these "DD" turbos still have plenty of power to be had. This is my daily driver and because I have an Automatic trans, we didn't want to push the tuning further than it currently is. Pure turbos website says these "DD" turbos make 450-600whp but they can definitely make more with the proper fueling.

Dyno = Dynojet.
Elevation = 4,500 ft. Utah
Fuel = Around e30?
91 octane pump mixed with 5 gallons of "e85" (the ethanol content at the pump was lower for the winter time and reading e70 after using the Fuel-It ethanol tester)
Boost = Peaks at 27 psi and still only at 60% wgdc.
Miles on car = 45k

Meth injection (Dual cm7 nozzles) 80% meth/20% water blend

596 whp 593 wtq

I previously dyno'd 368 whp and 438 wtq on a Mustang dyno when I was FBO running a single cm10 meth nozzle, 91 oct, stock catback, and stock inlet/outlet. I will probably go back to that same Mustang dyno eventually for a real comparison in power but for now, this is what I have.

Yeah it's holding up just fine for now. There's another person on the forums that's making close to 700 whp on a AT. Not sure how long that will last though.

So far the tranny is holding up just fine. Turbos have been on the car for about a month.

These look very promising. Im trying to decide between Pure DD and VTT stage 2 hybrid. There said to make about the same power but VTT is on sale for 1k less. Any added bonus to the Pure DD over VTT stage 2+ hybrid?

I can't say much about the VTT turbos but I'm sure there are some reviews on the forum.

You can ask my tuner (Trebila). He has tuned a ton of cars with hybrids and single turbo.
