N47D20 DPF flex pipe
Hi there.
Well, my DPF flex pipe has come loose and i've been looking for possible solutions but i'm a bit unsure atm. Has anyone tried to move the flex piece further down to the straight section to minimize the strain it takes being in the bend or to remove it completely? I'm not quite sure why it's there in the first place, does it make it easier to remove the DPF? Or is it there to take the initial vibrations? there are rubber bushings all the way back so that seems very weird. Could it be bad engine mounts? but that goes back to vibration and mine are fine. Im kinda lost on this.. Anyone that could chime in and get me up to speed? Thanks /de |

Having a separate forum for the 6cyl td but not including the 4cyl td is weird. The design on them is almost equal, biggest difference is the amount of cylinders. Anyway, still looking for input on my question if any has some. Thanks /de |
