Does anyone run staggered tires on square wheels?

I have stock 396's (18x8) and its about time to get new rubber. Was thinking about running 225 on the fronts and 245 in the rear. Has anyone ever done this? I'm planning to lower about 1.5" all around before I order the tires.

Here are the combo's I'm looking at:

Why would you like to run staggered tires on square wheels?

245/40-18 or 245/45-18 square would be a much better choice!

Defintiely!!

I have 18x8 Enkei wheels on my E46. I run 225/40/18 on the front and 255/35/18 on the rear with no problem. And according to my GPS and 9500IX the speedometer is right on the money!
