18" wheel in front and 17" in rear?

Hey guys. I am currently running Apex Arc-8 17x9.5 with 275/40/17 NT05Rs in the rear. I still have my stock 19" 313 up front. I wanted to go with Arc8s in the front but I was thinking of going 18x9 with like a 245/40/18 tire instead of 17s. I am thinking of going 18 to clear the F30 Performance brake upgrade that I would like to do. Is anyone running this set up? I know guys run small rear and bigger up front for drag set up but I don't think the 1" wheel difference will be that noticeable.

Big up front and small in the rear seems counter productive on a RWD car.

Not sure if trolling?

I am just concerned about about straight line performance so it's not really counter productive. It's a pretty common set up on late model cars that run drag radials in rear with bigger sidewall aspect ratio and larger wheels up front to clear bigger brakes.
