Wtf find this need some asap

so was doing the ofhg and got everything open and find this. Do I need a new ofh? Looks whoever did this last messed it up big time? Need a new one a guessing?

Looks like they tried to "fix" it by jamming tons of sealant at the source of the leak rather than fix it properly with a new gasket. Just clean it up real good and inspect for cracks or any other issue that might be causing it to leak.

yikes, you definitely need a new gasket, probably also a new oil filter housing as there is a noticeable crack on the bottom right of the picture...don't know if it will seal properly

Scrape it off with a plastic gasket remover and it'll be good as new. Don't use metal or you may marr the surface.

Edit: totally didn't see the crack. Yeah, you need a new one.
