E46 M3 Staggered wheels on E90 - Offset

Hey guys,

Just need a quick sanity check here.

I swapped a friend for his E46 M3 staggered wheels and I'm trying to get the offset right, so I need to buy some spacers.

Old wheels - Style 159 17x8 with ET34
New wheels Style 135 F:18x8/ET47 R:18x8.5/ET50

I'm thinking front spacer should be 12-15mm, and rear should be 17mm.

Here's a pic of the rears:

Those are M Sport wheels that came on a ZHP not M3. It looks like you have a sedan, so I think a 12mm on the front and 17mm on the back would be a good choice.

Perfect, thank you sir, the goal is to get it as flush as possible without any rubbing issues.

If those ET's are definitely correct you're gonna need more like 25/30mm spacers to get anywhere near flush.

I'd take a ruler and a level, measure how much room you have and order appropriate spacers.

measuring from sidewall to fender I'm seeing:
Front: 0.75" or 19mm so I'll order 20mm
Rear: 1.375" or 35mm so I'll order 30mm (slightly less)

Sound about right?

Yeah sounds pretty good to me, is that outer or inner? Rears have a pretty large inner return.

I was measuring outer clearance to the fender.

I ordered the 20 &30mm spacers...we'll see how she fits soon enough.

Thanks!
