Well, the rumor has it that it will not go on sale before 2018. ( It is expected to be presented officially at the Frankfurt Motor Show,but is still not confirmed).

G20 is POS Infinity.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

G20 is just the code, BMW wont actually use it for anything that is costumer facing.

Yeah, I get it, it's just us car guys throw the BMW chassis designations around and hearing "G20" related to BMW makes my stomach ache. Same as when everyone uses "Merc" for Mercedes, when for us old dudes, "Merc" always was short for "Mercury" (FoMoCo).
