Deliveries in UK

Hi all,

I put a deposit down in November 2015 in London and still have no news on a delivery date.
Is anyone in the same boat, i.e. around the same time deposit and preferably in the London area?
Thanks

Placed deposits with 5 dealers in march/April '15. Placed final order for the 2nd car from the dealer with quickest delivery in October '15. Delivery was projected Q4 '16. Took delivery 3rd December 2016.

Did your dealer ever tell you where you were in their allocations?

I'm sure there are plenty of cars/allocations out there. I'd be contacting your dealer immediately for a status update.

Thanks for this, this was a slip up by me, I just jumped on it and put my money down thinking that the quoted June 2016 delivery would be more or less correct. Looked like it was less...

Call around. I know dealers with cars available in as little as 3 months. Some might even have open allocations for an MY17 if your not concerned about a supposed MY18 LCI

I walked in to Park lane in mid October and picked up my car on 12th Jan. I was lucky, but slots are out there. Just keep asking.

Ouch...

Well, This was an allocation slot that was cancelled a day before I walked in, still configurable, too. I think they've had quite a few scalpers, so were keen to give it to an enthusiast (that's me), rather than someone who would just resell it.

Hey ho, at this rate I may get an LCI

I've got a Mineral Grey also but a manual. I spilt my cornflakes when I saw you got into yours so quick, I think I was reaching for the phone until I saw DCT and realised it wasn't 'mine'

It was fully configured to my spec, so it was never yours.
