Wheels 624 M OEM or not ??! please ...
Hi all,
My first thread on this excellent forum. I'm from France and after some BMW, and more Audi, I'll be back in 1 month with a M240i. A little question about wheels 624M in 19" that i search ... Do you thinking that this wheel I've found is an OEM or not ?? (Taiwan ??! ) The inscription on photo seems to be : BMW 8J X 19 H2 IS52 >AIMglSICu< 6 862 773 2-tone / 6 864 391 polished 06966 01/16/14 TAIWAN SAl 186309-10 Thanks for your precious help. |

Those look about right. Haven't looked inside mine in a while, but parts are made all over, especially wheels.

You could check w/ the BMW genius too - they should be able to verify legit vs. knock off parts. Also need to verify it is not bent, unless you know the seller and the story of why selling such a new wheel/tire.

Those also appear to be the same factory supplied run-flat tires that came on mine. Will try and pass by the shop to take a pic, but not sure what I can get with the car sitting static at the moment. I doubt being a Forged wheel (the 624m wheel) that there is a 1 to 1 replica, as it would be expensive to process and resell.

Those are def the real deal, I own the 624m polished set and they were put on same day when the car was bought at the dealer. I remember seeing whats shown in the picture on my wheels and remember it saying Taiwan as where the wheel originated.

Made in Taiwan

I am posting this photos to show the wheels are made in Taiwan. Unfortunately, there is no English version. Last edited by Dr. Joseph LI; 05-31-2018 at 09:43 PM.. Reason: no video allowed; just photos. It makes wheels for these auto car makers as shown.. |

My style 405, which is the other M performance style wheel used for the 2 series, are also made in Taiwan. Got the car new with them installed, pretty confident they are the real deal...
