Obviously the car was re-painted, so I was wondering what you thought of the paint? Could you tell, or was it a good re-spray job?

That depth gauge measures paint thickness, correct? So in one area, there's 42 microns of paint and in another, there's 234? Is that what I'm reading, or am I off?

Sick work as usual P!

They're 2 different gauges.

Wow. That's one of the best looking current model Mustangs I've seen. I like everything except the chrome rims. Fantastic work by the way! I have the same question as one of the above posters... is there really a ~200 micron difference in paint depth between panels?

This Foose mustang had a 3 stage paint. My Imola NSX had a 2 stage. That explains the thickness

the D6000 measures ferrous and non ferrous metals, the D200 measures composite materials. (CF, composite, fiberglass, plastic) Used on spoilers, bumpers, blah blah

Ive switched a while back first due to pricing, I still like the pre VOC version of CD2 better. Good thing I got a couple of cases

different panels, the bumpers/spoilers are generally thinner. around 40-70 microns

Bleh, Foose makes the most hideous Mustangs ever. Great detailing job though.
