I had my F30 with idrive 5 coded last September but the guy who did it told me that the video in motion coding doesn't work on idrive 5. It didn't bother me that much though as that was the only change he couldn't code.

There is a code, I did my previous f30 and it worked great. I got a new f30 and there's now an additional change that needs to be made, but it will only work at lower speeds.

As soon as you hit 40mph it cuts the display and won't come back on till you go below 20mph.

Shawn Sheridan gave me the code, I'll see if I can find it. He said it wasn't possible to do at all speeds any more.

Ok found it, I originally posted this:

Having a little trouble coding video in motion. I've changed 5 values as I did on my previous car, but still get "video cannot be viewed for your own safety" message when I move off. My car has the new idrive 5.0, does anyone (Shawn) have any idea if I'm missing something, or if there's an extra value I've missed?

Ive changed:

SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX To FF
SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN To FF
VIDEO_FRONT_LOCKED To not active
VIDEO_HANDBRAKE To not active
VIDEO_SPEEDLOCK_CONDITION To none

Any ideas what I've missed?

Shawns answer which finally made it work;

If you have NBT2 (EVO), you also have these, and you cannot set them to FF due to shortened Bitmask, so best you can do is 1F and 3F:

SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MIN = > Werte = 1F (11111b)
SPEEDLOCK_SPEEDVALUE_MAX => Werte = 3F (111111b)

Yes exactly that. Shawn explained why it wasn't possible but it went way over my head
