275/30/19 will they fit?

Hey guys,

I'll get right to it, currently on 19's (et30) 9.5 inch wheel with 265/30/19 tires. I am very low on KW V1's. I currently do not rub in any shape or form. I have tried 12mm spacers and did rub, a bit.

Question is... is anyone running 275/30/19 (et30) on an XI pre LCI e90 (2006)...? Do you rub when low?

I'm sure some will say to use the search feature and I have but with a million different opinions some seem to say yes and some no, anyone have first hand results with this fitment? I do not want to roll my fenders.

Thanks

I am assuming you are asking about the rear only, and not a square fitment. If so, it is going to be close when the car is under compression. It will depend on your vehicle ride height, and tire brand. Adding a touch of negative camber in the rear is another way of gaining a little more fender clearance since you are not willing to roll your fenders.

Thanks for the advice. I may have Turner Motorsports roll the fenders after all, any issue after that you think? I am pretty tucked.

I have V1's, and run 19x10's +25 square (5mm spacers in the rear), in 265/30/19's, and only minimal rubbing over large road bumps. Rolled the rear fenders a bit, and haven't rubbed since.

Snagged a set of Continentals for $165 a piece.

Interesting,

I guess Ill just have the rear fenders rolled if I decide to keep these wheels and mount 275s... although the 265 don't rub at all I am pretty low and an extra 5mm poke might just be too much.

Hi, new to this forum and am currently looking to fit some csl reps I bought a while back to my e90. They're 19x9.5 j rear et 27. Can I ask if your currently fitted 265s look stretched?

I'm looking for the best setup to avoid stretch and any scrubbing too of course.

Currently thinking of going 265/30/19

Cheers

265/30-19 is the correct size, and is not considered stretched on a 9.5" wheel. With that said, tire brands will vary in sidewall construction etc.

On a 19x10, they don't look stretched at all.

I did have a tiny bit of scrubbing with Dunlop tires, while the Continentals were perfect.
