Autotrader is rubbish, had a car forsale on there for 4 weeks now, just stupid calls so that the stats say xxx views and 1 call. I'm sure it's someone from autotrader just boosting it from 0!

If a car doesn't sell on autotrader, it's because it's overpriced.

That's my experience, over 20+ years and a dozen or more vehicles. Price it right and it will sell.

Within 60 mile radius it is the second cheapest, the one cheaper has double the mileage and half the spec, price is spot on
Admittedly the pink Cooper stripes might be limiting its appeal so hoping to get them off today.

Anyway, hijacking OP's post. That's a gorgeous car and well specc'ed!

That's right and I have same experience in selling cars on autotrader and I rate autotrader 10/10 as I have sold and bought all of my cars from there .

Thing you need to remember on autotrader is that you put as many pictures as you you allowed 20 pictures so you showing everything and if I were you not to say ACS springs word it will put ordinary people off (in my experience ) and autotrader will tell you how much to advertise it for before you do but you can ignore it

Have you checked on Webuyanycar how much is it worth now ?
whatever value you get from there just put another £1000-£1200 on top as that's what I do and car sells within 2 weeks paid period , only time it doesn't sell when I think it's worth more .

Good luck with sale and I think it's beautiful car but you know when people come to buy they are bastards

I would advertise a car like that on Pistonheads, which seems to work well for faster cars. A 20d I would probably stick to Autotrader or eBay classified, but there are a lot of people interested in larger engined / quick cars on that site. ACS springs would be a positive for most potential buyers on Pistonheads too.

I sold a petrol V8 X5 there within a day of listing it having had no response from Autotrader.
