I'm over from the 335D section but there wasn't much information on this. After browsing many forums of distilling methanol, many people go either 50/50 based on volume or amount. The volume method seemed more accurate due to methanol weighting less than water.

Does anybody have a formula of how much oz is needed of water and methanol to make a gallon of 50/50 mix ?

From other forums people stated

50/50 mix by weight:
1 gal mix = 55oz water and 73oz meth

Or if you want a formula: 55ozW + 73ozM = 1Gal 50/50 WMmix
