Hi all,

I tried to release Video in Motion on the F31 of a friend. He has a 316d from March 2015 pre LCI, with the Nav Pro and touch iDrive controller.

In E-sys I found module HU_NBT (not _NBT2). I changed the following settings

3000 > SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MIN 3 kmh --> nicht aktiv (there was no value FF)
3000 > SPEEDLOCK_X_KMH_MAX 3 kmh --> nicht aktiv (there was no value FF)

the following settings did not need any change:
3000 > VIDEO_FRONT_LOCKED nicht aktiv
3000 > VIDEO_HANDBRAKE nicht aktiv
3000 > VIDEO_SPEEDLOCK_CONDITION none

The effect was none. When we drove off the dvd did not play and we got the notification in the screen that while driving the video could not be played for safety reasons.

What did I miss?

Change the lower value (Werte) to FF.

I could not change Werte. This was linked to the other variable (3 kmh, 10 kmh, nicht aktiv and a 4th value which i do not recall right now).

The value with 3km / h do not pay attention.
Click the lower value (under the 3km/h), then right-click and edit.
In the big window below change the value to FF.
On the right side of the window klick the Symbol with the arrow (in german: übernehmen).
So the lower value is changed to FF.

And then continue normally (Save, FDL code...)

When I switch mine to FF and save and then hit FDL Code

The values of the thing above it change from nicht aktiv to UNKNOWN and the DVD video still kicks off when I take the car out of park



Are there some other values I need to update/change?

I have a 2013 328i F30.

^ I got it working

I also had to change: VIDEO_NUR_MIT_HANDBREMSE - Set to 00

DVD now still plays video when I put it into Drive. Went and test drove and got up to 80mph and it didnt cut off or anything.

I think you missed step 3 from the above screenshot from atzebmw

You need to click that little door/arrow icon before saving and code fdl
