Help on wheel and tyre selection please

Hi all
Sorry to add a post here Ive tired to look at posts before but couldn't find a answer .

Dose any one have any experience with running
18x8.5" ET 35 with 235/40/18 tyres
18x10" ET40 with 275/35/18 or 265/35/18

The trouble is I wanted to achieve a square look to the tyres and not stretched

If it was 275/18 tyre I'd be 2.15% out on the diameter of the rolling radius so

So question is should I stick to 18" x9.5 ET 35 wheel on the rear

Current set up I'm running factory 19" with m sport suspension
Cheers

I can tell you that 275 with a 10" wheel on the rear is pretty square but it depends on the brand. I have heard Michelin PSS run "wider" then most.

235 with a 8.5" wheel should be square as well although im just guessing. I have 235 on 9.5" wheel and they are stretched.

Thank you for your help on that. Much appreciated

Do you get any wheel rub with 275/30/18 ? My arches are not rolled they are standard m sport suspension.

Would it be be wise to go to 19"x9.5 or 10" ?? On the rear and 19x8.5" front ?

Here is my setup:

VMR V703

19x9.5 et33 235/35 front
19x10 et28 275/30 rear

I chose the 9.5 front because I thought the 8.5 front wheel looked to "flat" and wanted more concave. Same goes for the rear, 10" had better concave.
Depending of the wheels you are getting I would consider this.

I do rub slightly in the rear only when the back seat is full, although I am lowered on Eibach Pro kit. I'm sure if I rolled the rear it would be ok.

Ohh and I have a Pre-LCI e90 which has more room in the rear then LCI. You will need to take that into account as well.

In your original post with those offsets et35 & et40 not lowered you should be ok, if you run 18x8.5" 235/40 &
18x10" 275/35

I run 19x10's +25, square, with 5mm spacers in the rear. Fits nicely.
