Newbie to coding

Just picked up a 2013 328ix M sport and am going to code some things next week. I just have a few questions

1. Will dealers know i coded/care when i go in for a routine service or should i restore before a I take it in
2. Will coding interfere with inspection
3. What are the steps to restoring to original settings (All guides i found are if the VO hasn't been changed, but i'm planning to code SAT through VO)

1. Dealers do not have E-sys to individually examine various function parameter settings. They can only see the result. Generally, service centers are oblivious to coding or do not care. There are some that do. If you want to play it cautious, revert vehicle to factory settings before service and then reapply changes afterward. Only caveat is that you should not restore NCD's from earlier firmware if vehicle has been updated.
2. Only if programming is required and you added certain hardware or FA Option codes that are invalid for your chassis or production date.
3. When VO coding, you have the choice to write modification to VCM or simply load altered FA; either way, any activated "Read" or identical "Load[ed]" vehicle order will have the same result. If you opted for the former, you can always follow the same procedure to remove any additions.

Thanks man... one more question:

Is there a limit of how many things I should code at once? I have a whole bunch of things highlighted on the cheat sheet that I want to do
