Ideal width and offset for 19's

Greetings Everyone,

Recent owner of a white/black E93 335is DCT. Looking at some new 19's, and can do custom width and offset. I don't want to roll the fenders but want to maximize the flushness. Thinking 19x9 front and 19x10 rear, unsure of "perfect" offset.

I appreciate your input, and yes, I did search but couldn't yield satisfactory results.

BTW: Keeping stock wheels and painting them gold. I found a thread with 10mm front, 15mm rear spacers and was very satisfactory.

"Thank you for your interest in VMR Wheels. I see that you are interested in a set of 19" VB3s for your E91. The recommended fitment for your car is going to be 19x8.5 ET40 in the front with a 235/35/19 tire and 19x9.5 ET33 in the rear with a 265/30/19 tire. This is based on stock to mildly lowered ride height.

The 235 is the recommended tire size for the front, but, you should be able to use a 225 without any issues, as long as you are ok with a little bit of stretch."

I ended up with "VMR Wheels V710 19x8.5 ET35 5x120 72.6 & VMR Wheels V710 19x9.5 ET33 5x120 72.6"

Then he wrote,

"In my opinion, I would go with 235/265. If I can fit a wider tire, I will. The narrower tire in the front may tend to promote a little more understeer. Either way, theyre both within the recommended rim width range for the 8.5/9.5 stagger. Technically, the difference in rolling diameter with the 225 front is less than with the 235 front, but they're both less than 1%"

Not sure if this helps you as I am in a pre-lci e91 AWD...

igzekyativ, thanks for the reply. That is a little more aggressive then I thought was possible but probably inline with my desires. Maybe I can get some consensus here, thank you again.

Also, let it be noted that I am buying Bilstein B16 ride control suspension. So looking to go lower.
