Pagid RS 29 Brake Pads | BMW F80 M3 F82 M4
Yellow RS29. An evolution of the RS19 endurance pad designed for more advanced drivers. This compound combines the outstanding wear rate of the RS19 with a slightly higher coefficient of friction and initial bite. RS29 also features improved hot fade resistance over the RS19. In addition to the endurance racing, this pad will also be found in GT and VLN classes and Touring Cars (including our own E46 World Challenge cars). We have received excellent feedback from customers using the Pagid RSL1 for F80 M3 and F82 M4 track pads. They have reported much more capable and stable braking and better wear than other track pads and especially stock pads. His material provides very good levels of performance and response at all temperature levels, only slight temperature inputs are required to bring the pad up to its optimum performance level. Another favourite with endurance racers having won many classes at all major endurance events, such as Le-Mans, Daytona, Spa, Nurburgring, etc. Due to the exceptional pad life and very low wear on brake discs it has been possible to run 24 hours with out a change of pads or discs. Able to withstand slightly higher disc temperatures than RS19, this has proved more suitable for applications running very high disc temperatures. I've got these. Totally smoked them within 3 laps at Monza because the M3 has no brake ducting, so before I go back I will install ducts at all four corners. It's a shame only one company makes a kit for the F80. The pads looked like they had been through a fire after only 50 minutes. Christ almightly they squeal at low speed, too. This is not a pad designed for quiet use.

I also have these. They were first installed in May 2016 during a group Euro Delivery with 7 other M cars, an M3, M4 CP, and 5 M2s (3 other M2s and one M3 opted not to install the Pagids). We then did a track day at Nurburgring Nordschleife, with everyone doing between 4-8 laps. After that we did a full track day at Circuit Park Zandvoort, then a full track day at Spa Francorchamps.
Most of us removed the Pagids when our cars were redelivered, but installed them again for 2-4 track days at Laguna Seca during BMW CCA 2016 in August in Monterey. Some of us then did an HPDE weekend at Buttonwillow in October, and then again in February. Finally, I did an HPDE weekend at Laguna Seca. After the first day I installed a new pair on the front, but after examining the original front pads, I probably could have done the second day on the original pair. Yes, they squeal like a banshee if used on the street. During our Euro Delivery, the pads were installed in Grindewald, Switzerland. We then drove to Stuttgart, Nurburgring Nordschleife, Zandvoort (The Netherlands), and Spa Franchorchamps on the Pagids. We drew a lot attention in all of the towns we drove through, 8 out of 12 brand new BMW M cars sounding like we needed new brakes.
