Bluestone Metallic vs Sophisto Grey Metallic vs Space Grey

Thought these maybe useful to someone.

I ordered my car in Sophisto Grey without seeing Bluestone, finally managed to track down a paint sample today and compare.

Think I'm sticking with my order as it is. Just can't make my mine up on Bluestone.

Thanks for posting. I like the Sophisto.

I have never been in a US dealership that had these paint samples. Do most European dealers get these?

Zirenz2006 I think BMW is forcing all the dealers to get them. we just got our two weeks ago.
and bluestone looks awesome on the car.

Great samples! Did they have Mediterranean too?

I believe they will in time but at the moment I have only found that Bluestone in one dealership.

How they can expect to sell cars prior to launch without brochures, paint samples and interior trims is beyond me.

They probably did yes, apologies I never thought of getting that.

I think Bluestone is the only new colour the others should all be available from previous cars, etc.

Don't tell me that !! I'm still not 100% sure I have made the right decision

Just tell me the grey looks better and i'll be happy again

ajfoggy they both look really really good. do you want lighter, or darker? I think the bluestone shows more lines of the car.

The Bluestone is awesome. Looks even crisper than space grey. Should look great on the ivory white leather.

I'm thinking the darker. I think the pictures above make it appear a bit darker than it actually is.

This picture shows it off a bit better.

If it is as light as glacier silver in bright light the bluestone I definitely don't want that.

Mediterranean blue is not a new color, the F10/11 LCI has it, and also the new X1 and 2 series Active Tourer.

To me it's just a very dark blue without much pop or sparkle. To me Tanzanite blue is a similar dark blue color, but with so much more pop in the sun.

Thanks! Will checkout the individuals again. Have champagne quartz (X08) on my F11 now.

... Checked now and tanzanite blue doesn't seem to be available for G30.

I love it! But I cannot make myself buy a new car with the same color twice. The paint changes from brownish gold to turqoise purple with some grey in it depending on how clean it is and the sun's direction/cloudiness.

My bmw dealer had mediterraen. Ordered a 540xi with med blue and mocha nappa seats. can't wait. P.S. check out option 24w "non run flat tires". BMW is listening to it's drivers.
