Help - passenger door locked shut - actuator seems fine?
E90 330D 2006
Help: Front passenger door is locked and stuck. Essentially yesterday started with the inside door pin wouldn't come up with the central lock or fob but you'd pull the inside handle and it would come up and the door would open. As of this morning door is stuck shut I've taken the door card off from the inside without the door opening and had a nosy and fiddle (I've done the drivers actuator prev when that failed) Symptoms which might help: 1) pulling the door handle cable to the interior and exterior door handles doesn't open the door and they seem to be connected and functioning correctly 2) when you hit central locking and fob it sounds like the actuator is functioning fine (it sounds like it's locking and unlocking as it normally would) 3) the inside locking pin that pops up and down as you lock and unlock is stuck in the down position and hitting the central locking had no effect on this. Pulling the pin up / pulling where it connects to the actuator up the pin does move up but doesn't stay it goes back down itself to the closed position I've tried punching and kicking also which has no effect Any ideas?
