Hi,

Just retrofitted an ASD to my F30 ( http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...1234349&page=3 ).
And now I want to program it in ESYS.

The ASD shows up in ESYS as it is supposed to. But when I do Detect caf for swe I get this error:
Failed to get CAFs for SWE "swfl_0000111d-002_005_001"

So I don't know how to proceed?

EDIT: Do TAL Calculation and if basic variant is only in SVTtarget (ie red ECU not fitted) or no CAFD in SVTactual ==> 1st program (before you can code)

I have tried my best to flash the ASD, without success, as explained here:
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1348196

shawnsheridan does think that the problem is that the unit I have got is from a BMW F10, with part number 65129287265. Before I bought it I checked RealOEM, and it says that it is bilaterally exchangeable with 65129289971 (which is a F30 part number).

So I have a big problem, I cannot flash my ASD, and I cannot do a Detect CAF from Swe, as this is the error returned:

shawnsheridan did recommend that I try to connect as an F10 and then Read ECU, and then Detect Caf from Swe, but that gives me the same error sadly.

So right now I feel like I am out of options.

Does anybody have any idea on what to try next?
