You can change somethings through coding, but you are limited.

I tried back when I had the car originally in 2014 and none of them worked. I ready somewhere the newer cars with up to date coding did better. Willjust have to have a play thanks

Some options are left over from a time when associated coding worked.
Others require specific hardware, firmware, or production dates to see changes.

Was more thinking of the change over of the looks. Given that the gui just skins it was originally down to lack of files in the software. My car being 2014 the i3 was not out yet so files where not there. Same way you can set rolls royce or mini look.

I feel a day of coding today

Well seems its not to be the Theme for i3 even with latest software fails to load, must be looking for something in NBT unit thats causing it to lock up on splash screen. Real shame

Is this what you tried?

HMI_BRAND

OPTIONS
bmw (BMW) = 00
bmw_i = 01
mini = 02
rr = 03
nev = 04

I have never tried. I briefly just compared SVT's (F3x to I001) and they more or less have the same information with regards to firmware on HU_NBT, so there must be something else causing issue.

It is something about the i3 only as I read others managed the RR and mini Gui.
