Anyone running a Beltronics STiR Plus?

Just picked up a year old STiR Plus on eBay. Can anyone comment on K-band false alerts from blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control systems? Is K-band even useable with the current filtering/firmware install?

I couldn't figure out k band....Drove me crazy so turn3d off that band using my phone.

I have passports but never any problem with blind spot or other radar from any of my cars. Maybe something different between the brands / technology.

That's what I'm worried about! Reading the radar forums, it sounds like no solution is in sight either.

Which models are you running? Beltronics is owned by Escort- the STiR Plus is similar to the 9500ci remote unit. Both M3 based.

Redline - which I think is a little older tech without all the gps directional stuff that doesn't interest me.
