Detroit Motor Show BMW Color Specs

Am searching for info about specs of BMW cars on display in Detroit Auto Show, more specifically the colours. To be even more exact would like to know the paint of 550i (blue?) and the one on 6 series (blue?)

Anyone knows about it?

I am waiting for the VIN numbers to get the exact specs

I think the M550i is Carbon Black ( which looks blue under bright lights). Though in some videos it looks different

The Convertible 6 Series is Sonic Speed Blue

Yes, I'm pretty certain the M550i is Carbon Black. The M550i (and other g30 with M-sport package) is only offered in six different colors, and it's too dark to be Mediterranean blue.

BTW, I wish they would offer the G30 in that gorgeous Sonic Speed blue.

Thanks.. I am interested in Meditterranean Blue, and hence I asked. The Sonic blue is then too light for the med. blue?

Its a BMW Individual colour.
So should be available on G30 as soon as it cleared for Individual treatment

Never heard or saw a sonic blue before.... only for US markets?

Yes, Mediterranean blue is darker than Sonic Speed blue.

The G30 in this video is Mediterranean blue.

I thought it was a "regular" color for the 2018 6-series.
I actually saw on the color sample wall at my dealer.

Imperial blue is not an option with M-sport and the M550i.

This M550i is 99% in Carbon Black.
