Ordered an M3 sedan from Fairfax last night

They had an early May production date available, so I'm hoping for delivery before the end of June. This will be a long 2+ months.

I think a got a pretty good deal. They told me M3 sales are a little softer than expected. They have 5 M3s on the lot.

They have a SSII with black interior. It doesn't have tech pkg.

I was very, very interested in SSII until I saw it IRL. In the sun, it looks like metallic baby blue. Not good.

If you're interested in a sedan, they can give you a very good deal.

And I'm sure you could get a discount on a coupe, but probably a little less off.

Good luck.

That's unfortunate that was one of the colors I was considering. Normally I buy black cars, but this time I wanted something that was easier to keep clean.

I agree baby blue not a good color.

I am definitely interested in a sedan, I will give them a call in the next couple of days and see how it goes.

Thanks for the information.

Really? That would be great. I thought it took longer to wait for a ship, cross the Atlantic, get prepped at VPC, get trucked to the dealer, etc.

The earlier the better!

According to Junior, production 2/28, delivery 3/29 and his was a week 10 build. So 9 weeks added on would be end of may. I'm gonna try to get a bit off for my coupe but i highly doubt i'll be able to get anything off.

just check around the area and see what allocations they have. I definitely reccommend passport with Yves but there may be people ahead of you.

I'm in your shoes as well. C63 AMG seems awesome and according to my CA, it sounds almost as raw as the CLK 63 AMG Blackseries. Haven't had the chance to see one in person but MB CA told me that he'll call me as soon as the next one arrives so that I can check it out.

The only downside of buying a C63AMG is that you have to live without the keyless go as well as the LSD. With AMG performance package, the ride will be too stiff for a daily driver so it's not recomended at all. Without it, it's fine but not as smooth as the M3.

M3 on the other hand will take forever to arrive!

I can't decide what to get !!

there are talks on the message board that it beats the CLK 63 Blackseries too

I've seen one and you have to do it too. it has its pluses, and minuses too as it goes for any car. I can talk more about it, but wat the hell for this is a M3 message board.

Haha.. I know. Even though I have never owned a BMW, M's have been always in my heart as well as the E92. However, this time, the Merc finally came around and built a serious car. Whatever I end up getting, I'll be a happy person .

So has anyone ordered their car recently with M-DCT and 19in wheels around our area? If so, did you get the production #s or is it still delayed?
