how often do you wash your car this time of the year

Hi guys, as the title says..how often? Im asking this coz I feel guilty of not washing once a week like normally. Im just thinking, whats the point, wash it today and then its heavy rain on sunday forecast. And almost every time I feel it deserves a wash the forecast stops me from doing so.

I'm the same, my car hasn't been washed for a couple of weeks and is filthy, but every time I summon the time and inclination to wash it, either the heavens open or it freezes. I don't like using drive through washes or wash monkeys, bit I'm seriously thinking about biting the bullet and letting someone else loose on it with a sponge

Lots of salt on roads when we get snow in New Jersey (USA) if it is over 40 degrees out comes the hose.

I still wash mine once a week regardless of the weather. Gives me an excuse to disappear into the garage for a couple of hours & get a bit of man time

If you have a good level of protection on your paint work it wont matter too much, however the more regular you wash it the longer that protection will last. I gave mine a wax top last week whilst the weather was milder.

I used to wash my cars every week regardless of weather however since getting a silver car the gap has been 2-3 weeks.

My car is supposed to be black but it's a lot closer to silver at the moment, particularly the back bumper and boot lid

Agreed, I had a winter application applied on mine a while ago and makes washing the car so much easier in these conditions.

I was mine every week if I can, however, it can be tricky. Had to defrost the hose yesterday!

Not often in Winter. Gets waxed up before it gets too cold then not really touched. Did it this weekend as wheels were filthy and I wanted to get started on wet sanding.

Gave it a snow foam and power wash today. Got rid of about 80% of the winter grime.

I've fixed it now!

2 x snowfoam and pressure washer, 6 bucket wash (rinse bucket changed 5 times!) using a gtechniq wash mitt, and dried using BH QD as a drying aid with a super soft microfibre drying waffle towel thing.

In this weather and with working in a rural location so the lanes resembling more of a mud bath my touring ends up a crispy brown salty mess by the time Friday comes about so it's been weekly snow foams and rinses and then a foam, rinse and multiple bucket in the two bucket method stylee on every other week or if it's really wet and muddy I will just get the pressure washer out and rinse it off so it doesn't crust and build.
