Can you open the trunk without touching the key fob?

I sometimes have a need to open the trunk while the engine is on and parked.

I don't have comfort access and the trunk button on the fob does not seem to work when inserted into the hole.

There is a button by your left foot. By the handle to pop the hood.

Yeah, don't know why you don't use the trunk opener next to the dead pedal - aligned with the driver's door frame.

In your Owner's manual:
See Luggage compartment:
Opening from Inside or Opening from Outside

Ahh, there is a unlock switch to open the trunk from the outside. The switch is located above the license plate under the lip of the trunk...

The owners manual shows where it is.

Your kidding, right?

When the car is locked, the switch becomes inoperable... So no, if the car is locked the trunk is locked and people can't take whatever is inside.

Guess it depends on the body style. E93 the trunk opener by the plate is a keyhole not a button.

Should we even bring up the Valet switch?
