CF Mirror caps install issue

hi guys...

i installed cf caps on my f32 and after refitting the glass, the mirror won't move. the motor makes sounds but i cannot see any surface with/without the glass remounted moving.

any ideas?

Did you fully snap the mirrors back in place?

yes seems to be completely snapped back in.

with the mirror off, the motor churns but nothing moves. i assumed the base plate would?

any other ideas?

Remove the mirror glas again and try the base plate electrical movement over all travel ranges. If that would do, you made maybe a mistake by the reinstallation. When the base plate wont move fully then, remove additionally the mirror cap and try again. If that all wont help, you'd maybe damaged the base plate.

i noticed the wiring harness clip wasn't sitting into it's holder.
i clipped it back in and it seem to be ok now, although a little slow.
