Rogue Engineering Octane Short Shifter

Hi guys and girls, please give your comments here.. I'm thinking to either get this Rogue Engineering Octane Short Shifter or just the ZHP shift knob, what do you guys think??

the Rogue Engineering Octane Short Shifter is $165 and the ZHP knob is $58, both from leatherZ.com.

What opinion do you guys have? I heard that the ZHP shift knob already made night and day difference, but what about when comparing to the Rogue Engineering Octane Short Shifter?

More like day & twilight....
The ZHP shift knob improves things & is a good 1st step.
I've had it for a year & am adding a SSK now.

you should do both. I have both and am very pleased. The ZHP does make shifting "easier" but not shorter.

and tischer has the ZHP knob for like $50 shipped. Dont get ripped off by leatherz.

Too bad Tischer doesn't ship to Canada anymore... ya LeatherZ is too much, they needed to charge me $34 just for shipping alone and I'm just 700km away.

I ended up purchasing the knob from bimmerbum.com for $73 shipped..... ya is still more than what you guys paid.. but I'm in Canada so is a ok deal for me... BMW dealer locally wanted to charge me $95+tax...

I'll see, as my previous cars all had SSKs.. if I think the knob is not enough maybe i'll try the Rogue SSK... but I've heard about UUC SSK too? What are the difference? which is better?

I have the UUC, I don't know if the RE is shipping yet.
It's more $ but most people I talk to at the track say it's better.
& the UUC DSSR (shift rail) is a much better design IMO. (coming in 4-6weeks)

He is talking about the pre-06 3.0i SSK which has been out for awhile already. The Z4M 3.0Si one is as Black///M mentioned being prototyped right now.
