Code diamond button

Hello everyone!

I took delivery of my 330e 3 months ago, super happy with the car so far. One thing that i'm still confused about is what this button is supposed to do. I skimmed through the manual but couldn't find anything useful. I know in america you get the panic button, but since i'm located in europe we don't get that here, even though i have an alarm.

I can't find any setting in the iDrive either, can i code this button to my liking some how?

Thanks in advance!

Garage List
I quickly googled it and saw that if u press it, it will turn on the headlights, tail lights, and door lights, holding it for longer will set off the car alarm

On my key, I have a red alarm button in that spot for the panic button

It probably needs to be coded for the feature to be enabled, might be in the FEM_BODY I would assume?

The third and fourth button on keys can be programmed & further divided into Short/ Med/ Long Press. The various functions include Open Trunk / Open Frunk / Panic / Follow-Me-Home/ Axillary Cooling.

Open frunk, that's intresting!

Can i code this by some means or does my dealer have to code my key with their cradle thingy?

Or are these features that should of come with the car and has been missed by the factory?

Frunk is for i3. Dealer will not code.

I'm more intrigued by the axillary cooling. My armpits get hot in the summer! I'll take that over a frunk any day.

I am not sure you would want to pop frunk on a M4.

BMW Remote App or preconditioning also works.

In reality, my axillary cooling consists of putting the top down and my arms up.
