Need some lease advice on a 2017 X3 xDrive35i
Greetings
I'm currently leasing a 2014 428i, 36 months, 30k miles. My monthly payments are $553 including tax, and I'm reaching the end of the 36 months lease period. I need a little more space in my life now so the X3 has caught my eye. I just wanted to check with BP forum before making any decisions as I got some great advice here 3 years ago before leasing the 428i. I haven't seen many X3s with the specifications I want, they usually have more options which will bump the lease price up, so would it be better to do a special order instead? I'm interested in the following options: 2017 X3 xDrive35i M sport package Exterior: Black sapphire metallic Interior: Saddle Brown Nevada Leather Trim: Fineline Anthracite Wood Trim with PearlGloss Chrome highlight Driver assistance package + Driver assistance plus Navigation system BMW Performance Black Kidney Grille for X3 variable damper control Harmon Kardon sound system Any advice on how to get the best deal is appreciated. I'm located in Irvine, CA. |

Where in NYC did you go? I just started to look into the X3 and quite honestly haven't shopped around so not really sure what a good or bad deal would be. |

Well, after weeks of researching which X3 I actually want and need, switching back and forth between options and packages, I settled on one that was found half way across the country, mainly because finding the right car with DHP was tricky down here in CA.
This is the car in question, currently in transit on its way down to us is listed below... Model 17XE X3 xDr35i Black Sapphire Metallic Black Nevada Leather Driving Assistance Package Driver Assistance Plus Active Blind Spot Detection Dynamic Handling Package Technology Package M Sport Package 20" M wheel Sport seats Heated front seats Apple CarPlay Compatibility Wireless Charging Total Price $63,395.00 Selling Price $59,085 Res: 64% MF: 0.001130 Drive off including fees and 1st month: $2000 MSD: $2100 Monthly payments $626.84 +Tax ---------------------------------------------------------------- In the end I realized putting down just 3 security deposits instead of the max amount wasn't really worth it so I removed the $2100 and just paid the drive offs of $2000 including the first month payment, so the monthly payments came to $644 +Tax. I'm curious if this was a fair deal, purely to learn more about how leasing works. Cheers. |
