Any news on dealer demo deliveries?

The second half of December is starting to look us in the face. I've heard that customer deliveries are supposed to start in January - have we heard anything about anticipated dealer demo arrivals in the US (or anywhere else for that matter)? I'm getting a little antsy to test drive one, and my salesman still doesn't know anything solid about arrivals in the Chicagoland area.

I popped into BMW (UK) park lane in London and was told January was when they would have a g30.
so still a bit of a wait....

The production of the dealer cars is currently running. That the first are already at the middle of January to the dealer, is quite realistic

Yes, BMW are stockpiling them at worldwide locations before each markets launch.

Dealer in the city got theirs in M-Sport and silver. I can you right now it looks a lot better in person than in pictures. I know a lot have their reservations with the rear, specifically the taillights, but I'm confident those will go away once you see it in the flesh. The interior, while it may look familiar (as it should), it still looks/feels fresh and there's no doubting the quality. I can't wait for them to prep it for showroom/demo.

There's no silver with the M sport package anymore. I assume you mean Bluestone metallic.

That's probably it then. It was cloudy/overcast and it just came off the delivery truck.
