Tires Are Runflat? Rim Help?

I always see rims with the red lip around them. how do they do that? is it really painted like that because if it is that must be easy to ruin? I just wanted to know if the m3 with 19s tires are runflat cuz i know it dont have a spare on it THANKS

No runflats on this car. Just a set of great Michelins.

If you get a flat, you have the M mobility system, which is a can of goo and a small compressor. Do a search to learn more, I'm sure there are entire threads devoted to the subject.
