Rear wheel rubbing
My ride is lowered 30mm. I just put 19" wheels on. The tyres are 265/30 - too wide i know. The passenger side doesn't rub but the driver side does. The other day was changing the sensor and noticed the spring upper pad had completely busted. I pulled it out and it was all dried up.
I was going to get the fender rolled, but if only one side is rubbing, I'm thinking it could be the now-missing upper pad (part 9 on the attached image). Could the missing spring pad be causing the spring to collapse too much? |

I'd replace upper pads on both sides before rolling the fenders. However, rolling will give you more clearance.

How many miles are on your car? I get the same rubbing on only the driver side and have been planning to roll the fenders but maybe I'm having the same problem. I have the stock suspension setup tho on my E92 with only 46K so i hope its still holding up.
