Who's got in to to DRIVETRIBE already?

I noticed the other day that a whole chunk of the Evo journalists, plus some from CAR magazine, had all left recently... looks like they are all on board with Clarkson, May and Hammond on this new big digital community platform for petrolheads called DriveTribe.

You need a facebook profile to register at the moment, and once you do you can choose 6 tribes to join.

Feels like a combo of a forum, twitter, facebook, you tube all in one. Interesting concept and clearly had some weight behind it.

I hate sites that login with facebook etc I dont want it plastered all over my facebook what I am looking at on other sites etc.

Is it any good?

There will be other log in options available it says somewhere, but my guess is they are trying to avoid it being over run with trolls and spam.

I've had a Facebook account for years and haven't done too much with it for a long time so wasn't overly keen on that aspect of it. I think you can avoid any connection between the two though as it has its own app which I found more enjoyable to use than the website tbh.

It doesn't post anything on your facebook, in fact I don't know of any apps that use facebook to log in that does post to facebook!

Actually, the interesting and different aspect is you choose which tribes to join so you can avoid his one if you like. There's plenty other ones.

Some of the pics are video features. Looks like Ben Pulman, who was a long time writer for CAR , and Henry Catchpole, who was at EVO for years will be creating high quality content.
