2011 e91 LED or HID headlights ??

I'm planning to increase the quality of the headlights and I'm not sure which way I should go for. HID or LED ? I'm looking for a strong, bright quality light with a good look as well. However, I think I found the right bulbs to my car -LUX E90 LCI Halogen V2
Any other bulbs you guys can recommend ?? My car is 2011 e91 with halos
Btw. I'm curious about side amber lights. I want to change it for the looks as the m3 on picture below. 2nd pic is of my Oem amber light.

There are no 'swap bulb' conversion kits for BMW which LEGALLY alter the car to have any different technology headlights from what was fitted by the factory, which would pass inspections required in many states or which fully meet NHTSA requirements to be street legal headlights. The aftermarket automobile manufacturer association does not recognize any third party manufacturer conversions as being compliant. NHTSA has concluded that it is impossible to produce HID conversion kits (converting a halogen system to HID) that would be compliant with the federal lighting standard, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 108. As of Oct 2012, NHTSA had investigated 24 HID conversion kit suppliers; all investigations have resulted in recalls or termination of sales.

It is possible to retrofit a fully integrated headlight housing with a projector designed specifically for HID, this is not a 'conversion kit' mentioned above, which simply inserts a different technology bulb in place of the standard technology bulb. It is said to take over $1000 to properly do a retrofit to an E90

I could be wrong but those m3 lights look squared off on the bottom of the halos. e9x should be completely circular. my vote is that m3 has aftermarket headlights in order to achieve the lines of white light as opposed to oem amber light
