Headlights dirty from the inside

Hi all

I had my car fully detailed. Although the headlights and foglights looked better after, they still have buildup from what looks like the inside.

My question in short:

Is there a way that you could actually clean the covers (headlights, foglights) from the inside? Or will this be a nightmare DIY? I have Xenon Adaptive headlights.

The only thing I could find on the forums is people cleaning the outside, so I apologize if this has already been discussed.

Man, this is what I was scared of! I thought the way the headlight was assembled was with clips and thick seals.

Thanks for the info.

Be careful cleaning the inside of the lens because unlike the outside, it will scratch extremely easily.

OK, so what is recommended. I was thinking of a similar procedure for what's done on the outside (high grit sanding and buffing)

Is there another way to do this?

Shouldn't need to sand, just get a brand new microfibre towel and glass cleaner.
